Jeff Markowitz is the author of the Cassie O'Malley Mysteries, amateur sleuth mysteries set deep in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Princeton University and graduate degrees in special education and human services. For more than thirty years, Jeff has worked in the non-profit sector, developing services that enhance quality of life. Recently he discovered that he has something of a flair for killing people. In 2004, Jeff introduced tabloid reporter and amateur sleuth Cassie O'Malley in Who is Killing Doah's Deer? Cassie returned in 2006 in A Minor Case of Murder. Now Cassie is back to investigate a double homicide at the Mall of New Jersey in the Christmas mystery, It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Murder.
